The problem occurred each time I was left with 1 energy in my reserve and 1 on the heart of Argos.

What I mean Is I have encountered it more than once, and in the same way the original poster did. The energy from heart should enter the reserve AFTER the energy from Beggar's Horn, which didn't trigger!

According to the basic rules and FAQ, each player chooses the order of his end of round effects : it’s the simplest and the most effective, and no one should complain about their bad choices.

diamant's proposal is the best, but maybe longer to develop.
+1 for beggar's horn before heart of Argos when we have 1 token (or 0 & 2 hearts), current situation is a bit frustrating.

Ideally it should function first whenever you are at zero energy but there as instances where you might want it to activate later, though.

If you have zero energies, a Horn of Plenty and a Beggar´s Horn, for instance. There will be times when you want to generate the energy from one horn to the other and some other times you will want to pass zero to the horn of plenty and only activate the beggar´s later on, so you have an energy to spare on the next round.

The end of turn abilities are inconsistent as is. The order of activation changes turn to turn. User choice would be best.

But if that's too hard to implement, at least Beggar's Horn should trigger before Heart of Argos, see the order at boardgamearena.com/bug?id=80

Contrary to what I read in some comments, I think that implementing the order of the end-of-round effects at the player’s choice is much simpler than the current method that generates other bugs (there, I’m not talking about the order of choice of effects).

The implementation already identifies which player’s cards have a end-of-roung effect. When the player chooses his effects in the order of the turn, simply add a button under each of his cards with an end-of-round effect.
When a button is clicked, the effect applies and the button disappears. Until all effects are played.

And for this to work well, the cards must remain in the chronological order of their summoning throughout the game (other bug).

Mostly fixed in upcoming release, by doing the effects in player order and being more clever about the order of the cards. The only problematic case is Horn of Plenty when you have no energy in reserve.

This report is specifically about Heart of Argos + Beggar's Horn and that will be fixed.
