At the end of the game I remove knight of another player and recover my longest road.. however points did not change and the other player kept having longest road and won.. rules not followed

Same as what others have reported, blue played intrigue to remove an orange knight blocking longest road. The game still acts as if the knight is still blocking.

F5/refresh did not resolve problem, it must be server side issue.

Blue has played Intrigue card to remove my knight splitting his road. After my knifht was removed, he still did not get back Longest Route card and points. Road length was not updated as you can see on screenshot. I am still holding Longest Route card.

I didn't see this last night when I posted my own report:

It might be useful to clarify if this is also happening in the base game, for example when the Longest Road holder's road is bisected by a settlement and the other players are eligible but tied for Longest Road.

My experience was with a knight moving off of a road intersection and then that new road length not being correctly counted.

J'avais une route séparée en deux par un chevalier ennemi. Lors du déplacement du chevalier, le calcul de la route la plus longue n'a pas été réalisé. Y compris après remplacement du chevalier par une colonie. Calcul fait à nouveau lors de l'ajout d'une route.

F5 didn't solve the problem.

Red voluntarily withdraw his knight of strength 2 from the blue route in southern direction, therefore no longer blocking blue route. Blue route was of length 5 then, but this wasn't updated (it still displayed 4) and the 2 points were not awarded (4 should be 6), although the routes of all others were less long. See 1st image of the imgur link above.

Only when I build 6th road, the length was calculated correctly (6) and the 2 points were rewarded (6 points). See 2nd image of the imgur link above.

SOLUTION: recalculate route lengths also after knight replacements.
CAN I HELP YOU WITH THE (PSEUDO-) CODE AND PROGRAMMING?

I got the longest road - without having it.

I lost the longest road due to a knight. When I tried to take it back, I got it with 5 roads despite my opponnents have 6 roads.

It instantly ended the game.
(Luckely I would have ended it anyway)

same as smartin23, I took of a knight to let the road to the other opponent but it stayed to the guy who add the road before even if the other one got longest road at that time. Then he won, but he should not have had the 2 points of the road

I have been experiencing this bug a ton in Cities and Knights. If someone recalls their knight that was bisecting another's road, longest road is not re-calculated (often leading to the player with the shorter road keeping the longest road card). If the player who should have longest road adds another segment to their road, only then is longest road re-distributed.

The Longest Road victory point is not being awarded to the player with the numerically longest road.

Steps to Reproduce:

Player B has 7 connected road segments
Player A has Longest Road card with 8 connected roads
Player B builds a house that breaks Player A's road
Player A's road is reduced to 4 segments
Player A builds one road, reaching 5 segments

System incorrectly awards Longest Road to Player A (5 segments) instead of Player B (7 segments)

Expected Behavior:
The Longest Road card should be awarded to the player with the highest number of connected road segments (Player B with 7).

Additional Notes:

The road segment counter correctly displays the numbers (7 vs 5)

The victory point assignment logic appears to be disconnected from the road length displayed

Another player had longest road of 9, I added few roads, and connected 2 separate roads from different settlement routss, became 10 roads, but I didn't get longest road bonus, and should win, but lost.

This was a knights and cities game. The winner had a 5 street road, and we both had 7, but the winner was given the longest road card. Their road had been interrupted by a Knight.

I already reported this to support@ as soon as it happened yesterday but please below. I have a screenshot which I will add to using imgur as mentioned above.

Please could you review the game logs for Catan game "boardgamearena.com/table?table=736748558". I should have won the game, but it didn't give me the longest road and therefore the win. Screenshot below of final move.

I had 8 points already and knew I had won on my final go as I can 14 cards, so I built a city to get to 9 pts (to get to 11 pts in total) and then built 3 roads as per screenshot below which should have taken me to 8 roads therefore surpassing TW1003's 7 road, but it didn't give me the longest road and the win and as I had no idea what was happening, my time started to run down, I panicked and rolled back my move to try to get 4 more roads (so 9 roads in total) to make sure then I think someone kicked me out of the game as they knew I had won.

Can you review it please, as pretty sure a game glitch and not only did I lose 26 elo points taking me down to 257 elo, but it also reduced my Arena Elite ranking from 663rd all the way down to 926th when I made the correct moves to win the game by 11 pts.

Please could you get Emma from support@ to forward my email to her from yesterday to you which has the screenshot which clearly shows there is an issue with the game in those circumstances.

Originally Bill Y had the longest road. At move 428, I cut his road, so Kudra777 and I were tied for 7 roads with nobody having the longest road. At move 458, Bill removed the knight that was breaking Kudra's road, so Kudra should have gotten the longest road with 11 roads. It did not assign, and I was able to take longest road with fewer than Kudra at move 473

it was a strange situation.... the longest road got cut in half, but was then given to the person with the shortest road (3 of us had 6, and one had 5- the person with 5 got the longest road)

Longest road does not apply if an opponent has a settlement that intersects with the longest road. I had the longest road and lost it from the orange player placing a settlement on bottom right 12 ore, 6 ore, 3 wood intersection

You are correct. I had never thought of it. Made me have to the Catan Almanac. I don't think the scenario came up before or we overlooked it playing in person with no computer to automatically negotiate. Appreciate it.

@darfh: perhaps you can have a look at other messages above that do show images of wrong route length calculations? They have to do with moved knights which do no longer split up someones road

For kate_mi 789010974, it's a visual bug. Did you try F5 because in the replay, yellow has road size 6.
